Newark Man With Alzheimer’s, Dementia Reported Missing
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing, 75-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a missing, 75-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Muhammad A. Shabazz of Newark was last seen at 5:30 p.m. on Monday on the 400-block of South 17th Street.
Police said Shabazz is 5 feet 7 inches and 165 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue short-sleeve shirt with orange designs, black and white sneakers and a black baseball cap. (See below photo)

“While police are actively searching for Mr. Shabazz, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating him so he can be returned to his family,” authorities said Wednesday.
