Newark Man Has Been Missing 3 Weeks; Police Seek Public’s Help

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are seeking the public’s help finding a man who was reported missing more than three weeks ago, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Joshua Tirado, 37, of Newark, was reported missing on Dec. 26.

Authorities said Tirado, a Hispanic male, was last seen on June 22. He is 5 feet 7 inches and 180 pounds, and has brown eyes, a bald head and a light skin complexion.

Police said anyone with information about Tirado’s location can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695- 8477). Anonymous tips can also be made via the police division’s website, or through its smartphone app.
