Newark Man Missing For 2 Weeks, Police Ask For Help Finding Him
He was last seen on North 5th Street between Dickerson Street and Sussex Avenue, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are seeking the public’s help finding a missing man who was last seen two weeks ago, authorities announced Monday.
Rafael Batista, 43, of Newark, was reported missing on April 20. He was last seen on the 60-block of North 5th Street between Dickerson Street and Sussex Avenue, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Batista is a Hispanic male who is 5 feet 11 inches and 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing a blue jacket, a white shirt and blue pants, police said.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
