Newark Man Reported Missing, Last Seen At ShopRite: Police
Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing, 41-year-old man, authorities announced Friday evening.
NEWARK, NJ -- Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing, 41-year-old man, authorities announced Friday evening.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Lamont Anderson of Newark was reported missing Friday. He was last seen at the ShopRite at 206 Springfield Avenue.
Anderson, who has an intellectual disability, is 5 feet 11 inches and 280 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a gray hat and a face mask (see below photo).

Authorities said anyone with information can call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
