Newark ‘Meet And Greet’ With Superintendent For New School Year
A meet and greet event at First Avenue School in Newark on Oct. 17 will include a visit from Superintendent Roger León.

NEWARK, NJ — Have questions as the new school year gets underway in Newark?
On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Newark community activist Steve Sacco will spearhead a Town Hall event featuring a “meet and greet” session with Superintendent Roger León.
According to Sacco, the event will give local residents a chance to discuss plans for the new school year, or ask questions/voice concerns about the future of the district. It takes place at 6:30 p.m. at First Avenue School, 214 First Avenue, Newark. Light refreshments will be served after the event.
