The Essex County resident was a cardiac transplant social worker for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for over 40 years.
Roseland resident Patricia Skerko passed away on Sept. 29.
She was 70-years-old.

“Patricia Skerko, 70, of Roseland, NJ, passed away Tuesday September 29, 2015.
“Patricia was a cardiac transplant social worker for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for over 40 years, retiring 3 years ago. She was active with the hospital and the Society of Hearty Hearts.

“Patricia is survived by her sisters Lucille Kelly, Agnes Jordan and her husband Robert, nieces Susan Osmun, Anastasia Kovary, nephews Robert A. and Alexander Jordan, and 10 great nieces and nephews.
“In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of Hearty Hearts c/o Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Attn: L-4 Transplant Dept. 201 Lyons Ave. Newark, NJ 07112.”
