NEWARK, NJ — A Halloween candy giveaway will take place in Newark on Thursday, Oct. 31 courtesy of 2nd Precinct Community Service Officers, in partnership with the Newark Bronze Shields, an association of African-American police officers.

The event will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Montclair Avenue (between Summer Avenue and Woodside Avenue). The public is welcome to attend.
