Newark PorchFest 2022 Will Blend Music, Architecture, Art

Newark PorchFest 2022 is an arts and music neighborhood festival on Porches, Patios and Driveways of architectural gems located in Newark’s Forest Hill Historic District. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24 from noon to 6 p.m. (rain or shine). The day will feature over 60 musicians, visuals artists and dancers, 35 venues, a kid’s fest and an array of food trucks.
This free community-wide celebration of the arts will benefit the New Jersey Symphony in celebration of their centennial anniversary. The New Jersey Symphony is the state orchestra of New Jersey, performing classical subscription concert series and specials in six venues across the state, and is the resident orchestra of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Compliments of Essex County free trolley service will be available throughout the event and guests can pick up an event guide or download a digital version from newarkporchfest.com.
Forest Hill is easily accessible via Newark Light Rail (Bloomfield Avenue, Davenport, and Branch Brook Park Stations) and the city bus line. Street parking is also available on neighboring streets.
