Newark Residents Worry About Service Cuts To Coach Bus Lines: Report
Some Newark residents are voicing their frustration after hearing news that Coach USA plans to cut services in the city, a report says.
NEWARK, NJ — Some Newark residents are voicing their frustrations after hearing news that Coach USA plans to cut down some services in the city, a report says.
Community members were told that service cuts would impact the 44 and 31 bus routes. Service will be suspended on Sundays, and service Monday through Saturday will be suspended from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., News 12 New Jersey reported.
Coach USA general manager Jim Rutherford told News 12 that the company will work with the community to “come to a solution.”

Earlier this year, another bus company that operates in North Jersey, DeCamp Bus Lines, announced it was ending commuter services to and from New York City.
