Newark Restaurant Week is going on now through May 20 with discounted prix-fixe meals at participating restaurants.

Newark Restaurant Week is back from a hiatus to help the city celebrate its 350th Anniversary and showcase the bountiful culinary delights within the city. Newark Restaurant Week started today and runs until May 20 at twenty participating restaurants. Participating restaurants are offering discounted prix-fixe menus – lunches under $15 and dinners under $30.

It’s a great time to visit an old favorite or try something new. Newark Restaurant Week includes a variety of cuisines like Italian, Spanish, Indian, American, Soul Food, German and even RicoSoul (mix of Puerto Rican and Soul Food at the Weekend Spot).

Restaurant Week participants includes: 27 Mix, Annabella’s Kitchen, Awesome, Burger Walla, Casa Vasca, Catas, Chateau of Spain, Diamondz in da ruff, Francesca’s, Hell’s Kitchen, Hobby’s Deli, Krug’s Tavern, Luigi’s, Martini 494, Mompou Tapas, NICO Kitchen & Bar, Redd’s Biergarten, Soul Refreshing, Vivo Tapas and The Weekend Spot.
