Newark Shooting: Police Ask, ‘Do You Know This Car?’ (PHOTOS)

NEWARK, NJ — Newark authorities are searching for the occupant or occupants of a Nissan Sentra who allegedly drove up to a man and shot him on Wednesday morning.
According to Newark police, shortly after 10:15 a.m., officers responded to a call of a shooting in progress on the 100-block of West End Avenue. On arrival, the officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said that “a suspect or suspects who approached in a vehicle believed to be a Nissan Sentra” shot the man and fled the scene.

The Newark Department of Public Safety released the below photos of the vehicle.


Emergency responders transported the victim to University Hospital for treatment; he was in critical condition, police stated Wednesday evening.
