Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade Will Return For 2026: 'Faith, Family, Heritage And Tradition'
One of the most iconic Irish heritage celebrations in the region will return to New Jersey's largest city for 2026.

NEWARK, NJ — New Jersey’s oldest St. Patrick’s Day celebration will return to Newark for 2026.
The Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade – one of the most iconic Irish heritage celebrations in the region – will be entering its 91st year when it takes place on Friday, March 13. The parade will step off at 1 p.m. in downtown Newark.

- Grand Marshal – Jack Doll
- Deputy Grand Marshals – Chase Hamilton, Sister Jane McKenna, SSJ, Monsignor William J. Reilly, Frank Yorke
- Honorary Deputy Grand Marshal – Sean Mannion
In addition, this year’s parade will be dedicated to James “Jimmy” Cryan, honoring his legacy and spirit within the community.
Parade festivities will be preceded by an Investiture Celebration on Sunday, Feb. 1 to recognize the 2026 honorees.
