Newark Store Sells $50,000 Powerball Lottery Ticket: See Lucky Numbers

NEWARK, NJ — A Newark store sold a lottery ticket worth $50,000 for the Powerball drawing on Monday, Oct. 24, officials said.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, four tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the drawing, winning a $50,000 second-tier prize. One of the winning tickets was sold at Ivy Plaza Liquors on Irvington Avenue in Newark. Two other $50,000 tickets were sold at stores in Vineland and Parsippany.

In addition, another ticket and was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $200,000. That ticket was sold at a store in Beach Haven, officials said.

The winning numbers for the Monday, October 24, drawing were: 18, 23, 35, 45, and 54. The Red Power Ball number was 16. The Power Play was 4X.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $700,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 10:59 p.m.

Double Play Results

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Monday, Oct. 24 drawing were: 12, 48, 51, 63 and 67. The Double Play Ball number was 26.
