Newark Store Sells $600K Lottery Ticket, See Other Recent Big NJ Winners

A store in Essex County sold a lottery scratch-off ticket worth $600,000, officials say.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A store in Newark sold a lottery scratch-off ticket worth $600,000 last weekend, officials say.

The $30 Crossword Xtreme Scratch-Off ticket was sold at Ralph’s Liquors on Elizabeth Avenue in Newark, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

  • $250,000 (Jan. 7) – $250,000 Crossword. $10 ticket sold at Wawa #499, 388 Greentree Road, Sewell, Gloucester County. Two of six top prizes remain.
  • $200,000 (Jan. 7) – Sizzling Hot 7’s. $5 ticket sold at Quick Food, 745 Poole Avenue, Hazlet, Monmouth County. Prize was fourth and final of available top prizes.
  • $200,000 (Jan. 6) – Deep Pockets. $5 ticket sold at 7-Eleven #24107, 317 Morris Avenue, Summit, Union County. One of four top prizes remain.
