Newark Teen Goes Missing In School Uniform, Found Safe In Philly
Saleen Martin, 13, of Newark, was last seen in a black flight jacket and a North Star Academy school uniform, police said. He's now safe.

NEWARK, NJ — Update: Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose reported Wednesday that 13-year old Newark teenager, Saleen Martin, who was reported missing on May 2, has been located and is unharmed. Saleen was located by Philadelphia police, who confirmed his identity and notified Newark authorities. Our original article follows below.
Newark authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a missing, 13-year-old juvenile, last seen wearing a jacket and his school uniform.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Saleen Martin, 13, of Newark, was reported missing on Wednesday, May 2. He is 4 feet 10 inches and 80 pounds, with a fair skin complexion, brown eyes and black hair. (See below photo)

He was last seen wearing a black flight jacket and a North Star Academy school uniform, consisting of a green shirt bearing the school’s logo and tan pants, authorities said.
“While police are actively searching for Saleen, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and returning him to his family,” the Newark Department of Public Safety stated Tuesday.
