3 Teens Reported Missing In Newark, Police Seek Help: Updated

NEWARK, NJ —Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding three missing teens, authorities announced Tuesday.

Na’Sir Mcbride, 15, was reported missing on Aug. 8, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Newark police said Mcbride was last seen near Hudson Street wearing a gray shirt and black pants. He is known to frequent a townhouse complex in the area of Norfolk Street, and the basketball courts at Springfield Avenue and Prince Street.

Police said Mcbride is 6 feet and 200 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a light-brown skin complexion (see photo below).

In a separate case, Newark police are also asking for the public's help finding Alima Brinson, 16, of Newark, who was reported missing on Tuesday.

Police said Brinson is known to frequent East Orange. She was last seen on the 700-block of Parker Street wearing black shorts, a white t-shirt and red and black Nike sneakers. She is 5 feet 3 inches and 150 pounds and has brown eyes, black hair and a medium-brown skin complexion (see photo below).

On Tuesday, Newark police reported that a third teen, Semaj Johnson, 15, of Newark, has also been reported missing.

Johnson was reported missing on Aug. 15. He was last seen on the 20-block of Grumman Avenue wearing a black sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans and white Jordan sneakers. He is 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a medium-brown skin complexion (see photo below).

Authorities said anyone with information about the missing teens can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website at www.newarkpd.org or through its smartphone app.
