Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 17-year-old, authorities announced Friday.
Journey B. Haze, 17, of Newark, was reported missing after leaving the home of a relative on Thursday, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Haze was last seen around 7 p.m. in the area of Longfellow Avenue and South Orange Avenue. She is 5 feet 1 inch and 156 pounds with blonde hair and black roots. She also has three nose piercings and may be in Queens, New York, authorities said.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
