Newark Woman, 55, Has Been Missing Almost A Week: Police
A Newark woman diagnosed with bipolar and schizoaffective disorders has been reported missing. Police seek the public's help finding her.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing woman, authorities said Friday.
Marialaina Grieco, 55, was reported missing on Oct. 9, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Grieco, who has been diagnosed with bipolar and schizoaffective disorders, was last seen wearing a black, waist-length coat on the 600-block of Mt. Prospect Avenue on Oct. 6, police said.

Grieco was described as 5 feet 5 inches and 140 pounds. She has blue eyes and scars on her legs. She is known to frequent the neighborhood of Mt. Prospect Avenue between Grafton and Elwood avenues, and she likes to be around churches and dollar stores, authorities said.
Police said anyone with information about Grieco’s whereabouts can call the division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the police division’s website at www.newarkpublicsafety.org. or through its smartphone app.
