Missing Newark Woman, 62, Found Safe (UPDATED)
A woman was reported missing in Newark. She has since been found and is safe, police said.

Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing, 62-year-old woman, authorities announced Thursday morning.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Juanita Preston was last seen at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Marie Place and Ridgewood Avenue in Newark.

Preston is 5 feet 6 inches and 100 pounds, with a light skin complexion and brown eyes. She was wearing a gray shirt with multi-colored polka dots, possibly gray pants, uses a black cane and is also known to wear a hand brace.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
