Newark Woman Reported Missing, Police Seek Public's Help

A 39-year-old woman was reported missing from the Mount Carmel Outpatient Mental Health Program, Newark police said.

NEWARK, NJ -- Newark authorities are asking for the public’s assistance finding Dulce Lopez-Guevara, 39, of Newark, who was reported missing on Friday, April 12.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety:

"Ms. Lopez-Guevara was reported missing from the Mount Carmel Outpatient Mental Health Program at 269 Olive Street between noon and 12:30 p.m. She is described as 5’2” tall and 170 lbs. She has a light [skin] complexion, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with brown feathers, a white shirt with blue sleeves, white sandals and black pants or blue jeans."

"While detectives are actively searching for Ms. Lopez-Guevara, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating her and returning her to her family," police stated.
