Newark Woman Stabbed In Domestic Violence Attack: Police

NEWARK, NJ — A 33-year-old Newark woman is in critical condition after being stabbed during a domestic violence attack on Monday morning, police say.

Police responded to the report of a domestic violence incident on Martin Luther King Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m. The suspected assailant, Aaron McKinnon, 28, of Newark, allegedly stabbed the victim several times before fleeing the residence, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

The victim is receiving treatment at University Hospital and is listed in critical condition, authorities said Monday.

Newark police released the below photo of McKinnon, who is still at large.
