NJ Ambulance Crew Resigns After Live-Streaming Debacle At White Castle: Report
A NJ ambulance crew was apparently caught on camera ignoring an emergency call while eating at White Castle, reports say.

Newark, NJ – A New Jersey ambulance crew that was apparently caught on camera ignoring an emergency call because the ambulance driver was live-streaming while on duty has resigned, a report says.
James Hovan and his partner were working late Thursday night, and Hovan was using Periscope to live-stream video while driving around Newark and then getting food at White Castle, according to News12.
Both were placed on administrative leave without pay, the report said.

"The individuals involved in this matter have resigned their employment with University Hospital as a result of their inappropriate conduct, which violated numerous hospital policies, including our clear guidance on emergency response protocols, the use of social media, and our code of conduct," hospital spokeswoman Stacie Newton said in a statement to NJ Advance Media on Tuesday.
