NJ Brewery To Make Ukrainian-Inspired Beer To Aid Relief Efforts
Anheuser-Busch will produce the beer at its Newark brewery, the company announced this week.
NEWARK, NJ — In an effort to provide humanitarian relief to war-torn Ukraine, Anheuser-Busch this week announced it will brew a Ukrainian-inspired beer at its Newark brewery.
The brew will take its inspiration from the beloved Ukrainian beer Chernigivske, Anheuser-Busch announced in a release. Chernigivske was named after the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv and has been brewed in Ukraine since 1988.
The crisp, European-style lager will be served on tap in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix beginning in May, the company said.
