Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 14-year-old girl, authorities announced Wednesday.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 14-year-old girl, authorities announced Wednesday.
Kamisha Austin, 14, of Newark, was reported missing on June 9, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
Austin was last seen on the 100-block of 12th Avenue, and is known to frequent 250 Georgia King Village. She is 5 feet 3 inches and 160 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a brown skin complexion. She was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jean shorts and black sneakers, police said.

Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
