Multiple Injuries After NJ Transit Bus Crashes
A NJ Transit bus crashed into a tree in Newark, injuring multiple people, authorities said.

Newark, NJ – A NJ Transit bus crashed into a tree in Newark on Monday afternoon, authorities reported.
NJ Transit officials said that the #37 Line bus was traveling from Newark Airport to Ivy Hill when it hit a tree at the intersection of Wainwrights and Lyons avenues, ABC 7 reported.
A Newark police spokesman told Patch that the incident was a one-vehicle accident that left multiple people complaining of pain, but that there were no life-threatening injuries suffered in the crash.

Emergency responders transported all 31 passengers to local hospitals for treatment and evaluation, FOX New York reported.
There was no word on what caused the crash as of Monday afternoon, and no charges have been filed against the driver, the spokesman said.
