NJ Transit Bus Driver Slapped In Face After Passing Up Rider: Police
Police are searching for a man who allegedly slapped a NJ Transit bus driver in the face after she passed him up in Newark.

NEWARK, NJ — Police are searching for a man who allegedly slapped a NJ Transit bus driver in the face after she passed him up in Newark, authorities said Wednesday.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the incident took place on Nov. 27. Here’s what happened, authorities said:
“At approximately 11:30 a.m., police responded to Lyons Avenue and Parkview Terrace on a call that a female NJ Transit bus driver was slapped by a male following a verbal altercation. The male suspect had attempted to flag down the bus driver hoping that she would pull over and allow him to enter the bus at a location not designated as a bus stop. The suspect entered the bus at the next stop and had words with the driver before slapping her in the face.”
Police said the suspect has read and black hair, and was wearing all-black clothing and a black hat (see photos below).
