NJ Transit Train Strikes Pedestrian In Newark; Delays For 2 Lines
A train fatally struck a pedestrian near the Broad Street station. Delays were reported on the Morris/Essex and Montclair-Boonton lines.

NEWARK, NJ — A NJ Transit train fatally struck a pedestrian near the Broad Street station in Newark on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The Morris/Essex and Montclair-Boonton lines saw delays up to 30-minutes in both directions, NJ Transit stated.
Morris/Essex train #312, the 8:27 a.m. arrival into Hoboken, was cancelled.
