North Jersey Event: ‘World Dog Expo’ Promises A Tail-Wagging Good Time
The World Dog Expo, to be held from June 9 to 11, will include "dock diving," a grooming competition and an appearance from "The Pit Boss."

SECAUCUS, NJ — You could say this event is for the dogs, but you’d be barking to the choir.
The Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus will host the World Dog Expo, the “first-ever internationally focused dog expo,” from Friday, June 9 to Sunday, June 11.
According to a news release, the three-day event will “celebrate dogs everywhere,” and will include interactive events, booths and educational opportunities for pet care professionals and the general public.

The event will include multiple stages – both indoors and outdoors. Attractions include:
- Displays of dock diving, disc dog, fly ball and agility
- A breed showcase area
- Interactive treat and toy exhibits
- A “world championship grooming competition”
- Appearances from notable rescue and pit bull advocates such as Shorty Rossi aka “The Pit Boss” and Deirdre Franklin, the founder of Pinups for Pitbulls
- A performance from the Olate Dogs, winners of season seven of America’s Got Talent
Tickets to the World Dog Expo range from $24.95 for a one day pass and $59.95 for a three-day pass. The expo is free for children under 12.
