NY Man Last Seen Leaving Newark Hotel Is Still Missing: Police
He was reported missing nearly three months ago, Newark police said.

NEWARK, NJ — The search continues for a missing New York resident who was last seen leaving a hotel in Newark, authorities said Thursday.
Mohammed Arif Jafari, 25, of Syracuse, was reported missing on Aug. 16, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

“Jafari, who [has] an intellectual disability, was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. leaving the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at 858 Broad Street. He was wearing a green t-shirt and khaki pants with no shoes. Known to pray a lot, Jafari is described as 5 feet 5 inches and 145 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and a light complexion.”
