An Essex County woman accused of killing a man with a botched penis enlargement injection in 2011 is facing new charges of attempted jury bribery.

The latest charges for Kasia Rivera, 34, of East Orange, came on Tuesday during jury selection for the ongoing trial.

Two potential jurors have alleged that they were approached by a man associated with Rivera, who offered them $5,000 bribes to favorably influence the outcome of her trial, according to a NJ.com report.

As a result of the allegations, Superior Court Judge Ronald Wigler dismissed all 20 potential jurors, revoked Rivera’s bail and remanded her to the county jail, reported NJ.com.

According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Rivera was originally charged with manslaughter and the unauthorized practice of medicine in connection with the death of 22-year-old Justin Street of East Orange.

In 2011, Street went to Rivera’s East Orange home, where he received a silicon injection in his penis. The next day, Street died as a result of the injection.

A medical examiner determined the cause of death was silicone embolism, and the death was ruled a homicide.
