Pit Bull Attacks Newark Woman On Leslie Street: Police
A 51-year-old woman may have suffered a broken arm in the alleged attack, police say.

Newark, NJ – A Newark woman was allegedly attacked by her neighbor’s pit bull on Saturday and suffered injuries that required hospital treatment, police say.
According to the Newark Police Department, the incident took place outside the 51-year-old woman’s home on Leslie Street.
The woman suffered injuries that included a possible broken arm, and was taken to University Hospital for treatment, police said.

The local Humane Society took custody of the dog, which had all of its required licenses and medical records, police stated.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed against the owner, police said.
