Plane Leaving Newark Airport Turns Back; None Hurt: Report
Report: A situation involving a flight control problem forced a United Airlines flight to return to Newark Airport shortly after takeoff.

NEWARK, NJ — A situation involving a flight control problem forced a United Airlines flight to return to Newark Airport shortly after takeoff on Thursday, officials said.
Flight 1990 was bound for Minneapolis when it encountered problems, officials told NJ.com. It landed safely around 7:25 p.m.
United Airlines said a "maintenance issue" prompted the crew to return to Newark airport. There were 154 passengers and six crew members on the plane; none suffered injury, NJ.com reported.
