NEWARK, NJ — A police-involved shooting took place in Newark on Thursday night, authorities say.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the shooting took place near the intersection of West Bigelow and Hunterdon Street. Two people were shot.
No additional information was immediately available. A police investigation continues, authorities said.
