The event, which will be hosted at the West Side Park Community Center in Newark on Tuesday, March 28, will provide attendees an opportunity not only to learn about UCC’s programs, but a chance to register, sign up, or schedule an appointment with that program. Additionally, there will be representatives from other organizations in attendance to provide various resources such as health screenings. The event at West Side Park, located at 600 S. 17th St., will be held from 2 to 6 p.m.

“The importance of this event is to make sure the community gets a chance to be seen by us and register or get an appointment with our programs,” said Christian Marsette, a family crisis case manager at UCC. “We know that people are busy so to get an appointment or to be able to register can be difficult for them. This day we will make sure we clear our schedules during the event to ensure anyone in the community that needs us can get information about UCC resources."
Community members interested in attending the event are not required to pre-register or sign up ahead of time. All are welcome to join the day of the event. The event will include the following organizations: Amerigroup; St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center; Peapack-Gladstone Bank; Saint James Health; Team Management 2000, Inc.; and The Leaguers, Inc.
