Robbery Victim Bashed With Metal Pipe In Newark: Police
The suspects fled the scene in a car that has also been seen in Belleville and Clifton, police said.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police are searching for three people who beat a victim with a metal pipe and robbed him in Newark last week, authorities announced Monday.
The suspects fled the scene in a car that has also been seen in Belleville and Clifton, police said.

“The robbery occurred at approximately 3:41 a.m. on the 400-block of North 5th Street when the suspects – two men and a woman – struck the victim with a metal pipe in his head and face, and on his back and arm. After the attack, the suspects took the victim’s iPhone (valued at $700) and fled in the vehicle pictured below: a silver 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck bearing New Jersey license plate P97RBZ. The four-door vehicle (VIN # - 2HJYK165X6H504528) was seen in Clifton, but frequents Clifton Avenue in Newark and Washington Avenue in Belleville. It also has been listed as a felony vehicle.”
