The freshman student at Rutgers Newark may have helped to save the life of a school employee.

A Rutgers University-Newark student may have helped to save the life of a university employee with quick thinking and CPR know-how last week, according to rutgersnewarkathletics.com.

The university said that freshman Brendon Frank – a criminal justice major and a men’s volleyball player as well as a former Eagle Scout – first heard the scream when he sat down to eat at the Stonsby Commons & Eatery on campus.

That’s when Frank found Helen Davis “completely limp and unconscious in her high chair.”
