The residents of New Jersey have definitely “woke up” to a New Jersey that is unrecognizable from the great state it once was. As cities and towns around the Garden State price out the middle class, gouging is the new normal. When you think of the ‘Soprano State,' the term South Jersey is likely in the same sentence. The greed and the poor leadership that has pushed this part of New Jersey into a downward spiral for decades .

Most of New Jersey has reaped the rewards of progress, and while South Jersey is finally starting to move forward, there is still one constant:

Camden is still a dumping ground for dead bodies.

Not too long ago a woman's body was pulled out of a car from Cooper River.

A body was also found in the trunk of a car a block from the hospital.

The never-evolving Burlington County's, broken leadership and lack of proper parental and school discipline has weighed down what buoyancy was left. The two counties still use the race-card as a driving force that ultimately has stagnated, yet fueled their financial gains until recently.

It's not just on the political side, the residents also have a lot to do with the decades-old philosophy of little expectations and no growth. I don't know of any city or area in NJ that operates under such a broken-down model of

anarchy, and such a low standard of living. In a word – it’s pathetic.

Shoplifting is a common occurrence, and three-wheelers run
amok on the streets.

Vehicles litter the roads with ungodly damage. I mean the whole car is smashed or falling apart all over the road. During a 15 minute-drive one can witness just about every traffic violation being broken and disdainfully abused.

Homes that sat in ruins for decades have recently caught the interest of investor-types,
and must now allow the Tax assessor in to figure out a way to raise taxes.

I find disconnecting a customer’s water for $53.00 then the water company charges $54.00 dollars to reconnect the water is a bit out of line, to say the least. But I thought the Mall Cleaner for the Moorestown mall over the holidays, standing in the middle of the pond while stealing the wet change was over the top.

Until I witnessed a worker from a fast-food hamburger establishment
come out of the bushes with blood dripping down his arm, and when it was reported to the
manager, the chain closed the store for a deep cleaning.

I can understand why it has taken
decades for any movement, but Bordentown City Police should know better.

This year's Bordentown City Christmas Tree Lighting was to be the kickoff for the

Holidays. That’s where people from around the area could come and support local businesses.
Surprisingly enough,when a small area Police Department Sergeant from Burlington City, NJ,
goes out of his way to exert his authority over street parking.

Making one driver move while letting others park in the same spot is troubling. A police department discriminating against one driver for another is a huge problem. A Sergeant that tells false stories is a coverup and paints a wide ugly brush on the whole city of a chaotic broken system . In this day and age trust between the public and law enforcement should be paramount .

The public should think twice before visiting the area .
