Search Continues For Missing Woman Last Seen 3 Weeks Ago In Newark
The missing woman may not be taking her medication and might be at a local shelter, police said.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police continue their search for a missing woman who was last seen in Essex County three weeks ago, authorities announced Tuesday.
Ebony N. Gay, 35, of Newark, was reported missing on March 3. She was last seen on the 50-block of Clifton Avenue in Newark, authorities said.
Gay, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, may not be taking her medication. She might be in a local shelter, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.

Police said Gay is 260 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair (see photo above). It isn’t know what clothing she was wearing at the time.
Authorities said anyone with information can contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division’s website.
