Police arrested a Newark man for allegedly threatening to kill two women and their families if they didn't have sex with him.

Newark, NJ – Police arrested a Newark man on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to kill two women and their families if they didn’t have sex with him, authorities stated.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is charging that Salaam Leeks, 29, of Newark, told the women that the sexual favors were in retaliation for actions taken by their boyfriends.
Authorities charged Leeks with conspiracy, criminal coercion, sexual assault and threatening violence.

He was held at the Essex County Correctional Facility on $750,000 bail.
According to the NJ Courts Public Access database, a 29-year-old Essex County man named Salaam A. Leeks was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a minor under 13-years-old in 2009.

That Salaam A. Leeks pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child in 2010 and received 190 days of jail time, according to the database.
