Police: Gunshot victims showed up at University Hospital following a report of shots fired.

A nighttime shooting in Newark left four people injured on Tuesday night.
Newark police stated that officers responded to Irvine Turner Boulevard and West Kinney Street around 9 p.m. on a report of shots fired and found evidence at the scene.
Later that evening, four gunshot victims arrived at University Hospital in Newark in private vehicles, one of which was stuck by gunfire, according to the Associated Press.

Police are not releasing the names of the victims in order to protect their identities.
