Gunfire wounded four people in Newark. Three victims were found at the scene; another arrived at the hospital on his own, authorities say.
NEWARK, NJ — Gunfire wounded four people in Newark on Labor Day, authorities say.
Police responded to the area of Chadwick and Clinton avenues at 11:04 p.m. on Monday after getting a report about a shooting. Emergency responders found three victims at the scene with gunshot wounds and transported them to a nearby hospital, according to the Newark Department of Public Safety.
A fourth victim with gunshot wounds arrived at the hospital on his own, police added.
