Stabbing At Newark McDonald's Leaves 3 Hospitalized: Police

Newark police said a woman and two men were stabbed during a fight at the fast food restaurant on McCarter Highway.

NEWARK, NJ — Three people were hospitalized Wednesday following a stabbing at a Newark McDonald's restaurant, authorities said.

Newark police were called to the restaurant, located at 569 McCarter Highway, around 6:40 p.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they discovered one woman and two men had been stabbed during a fight with a male suspect.

The three people were taken to University Hospital and were all in stable condition, police said.

As of Thursday morning, the suspect was not in police custody.

No additional information was immediately available. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
