Tenants Say Newark Apartment Building Still Has Security Risks After Stabbing: Report
Tenants at a high-rise building in Newark claim that they're living with brown-colored water, mold, leaks and serious security concerns.
NEWARK, NJ — Tenants at a high-rise building in Newark claim that they’re living with brown-colored water, mold, leaks and serious security concerns – despite paying luxury prices, a report says.
Multiple tenants at 1180 Raymond Boulevard – also known as Eleven80 – recently outlined their complaints to Jersey Digs, including a knife-point attack on a security guard outside the building last year. Other alleged security issues include non-functioning security cameras and front doors that are left unlocked all day. Tenants have also reportedly had difficulty getting someone on the phone when things go wrong in the building.
One resident said he is paying $3,600 a month to live in his upper-floor apartment.
