TSA To Hold Hiring Event In Newark For Federal Air Marshal Jobs

NEWARK, NJ — The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is hiring more federal air marshals across the nation, including jobs at airports in the Newark/New York City region.

The TSA will hold a hiring event from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott, 1 Hotel Rd., Newark. Subsidized hotel parking will be available for applicants.

According to a news release from the agency:

“TSA is hiring additional women and men to serve as Federal Air Marshals to work in locations nationwide and is conducting a two-day expedited hiring event in Newark on Feb. 27 and 28 where individuals can apply on the spot. The event provides applicants with an opportunity to accelerate the Federal Air Marshal hiring process. The salary range for entry-level Federal Air Marshals is $46,428 to $71,932 plus locality pay based on the region where an individual is stationed. Locality pay for the New York City/Northern New Jersey region is currently an additional 36.16%.”
