United Airlines Plane Has Scary Fuel Leak Before Takeoff From Newark (WATCH)

The United Airlines plane was about to depart from Newark Airport when passengers noticed that fuel was leaking from the wing, reports say.

NEWARK, NJ — Rachel Brumfield, a newlywed headed to Venice with her husband, Mike, was preparing to settle in for a long flight out of Newark International Airport on Tuesday night. Already nervous about the flight, Brumfield tried to focus on their destination: a Mediterranean cruise.

And that’s when she and her husband looked out the window and saw the gushing jet fuel.

According to reports, commuters aboard a United Airlines flight bound for Italy spent the night in hotels – at the airline’s expense – after their about-to-depart plane suffered an unexpected and terrifying complication… a massive fuel leak.
