‘Urban Vegan’ Restaurant Opens In Newark: Burgers, Shakes, Salads
A "fast-casual" Vegan restaurant is serving up salads, fruit shakes and specialty Vegan Bowls in Newark.
NEWARK, NJ — A “fast-casual” Vegan restaurant is serving up burgers, shakes and biscuits in Newark.
Urban Vegan opened its doors in July at 915 Broad Street. Championing their slogan, “It’s easy being vegan,” the business touts “locally sourced ingredients” and a family-friendly environment. The menu also includes salads, fruit shakes and specialty Vegan Bowls.
It’s located at an 84-unit mixed-income, mixed-use project developed by Adenah Bayoh, who recently opened another eatery nearby, Cornbread Newark, ROINJ.com reported.
