Victim Stabbed, Robbed During Newark Home Invasion: Police
A Newark man was waiting for a woman to arrive at his apartment. A pair of men showed up instead with a knife and gun, police said.

NEWARK, NJ — A Newark resident was stabbed and robbed during a home invasion last week, authorities announced Friday.
Newark police said they are still looking for two men who allegedly forced their way into a resident’s apartment on Van Vechten Street on Oct. 23.
According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, officers responded to a call about a stabbing at 1:42 a.m. The victim told officers that he was waiting for a woman he had met to come to his apartment. When he heard a knock at the door he opened it, and two men brandishing a knife and a gun forced their way in.

The victim said both men – whom he identified as “Foo” and “Zock” – took $400 and a gold chain after “Foo” stabbed him on the forearm.
According to Newark police, “Foo” is a Black male in his 50s, from 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches with grey hair and a medium build. He was wearing a baseball cap, a dark-colored sweatshirt with a hood, green pants and a yellow vest with “City of Newark” written on the back.

“Zock” was described as a Black male from 40 to 50-years-old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches and was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with a hood, black jeans, a ski mask and dark-colored boots.
Police released surveillance photos of the suspects, which can be seen below.
