Violent Brawl Outside Newark Bar Allegedly Caught On Video
WATCH: A fight took place outside a New Jersey restaurant and bar last weekend, but no arrests have been made, authorities said.

NEWARK, NJ — A fight took place outside a New Jersey restaurant and bar last weekend, but no arrests have been made as of Thursday, authorities said (see video below).
The fight took place outside the Patio Restaurant and Lounge at the intersection of Wilson and Lafayette Street in Newark around 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, according to a Newark Department of Public Safety spokesperson.
No arrests have been made, but the incident remains under investigation, the spokesperson said.

Newark Alcohol Beverage Control officials ordered the bar closed from Friday to Monday, May 14 after investigators received a video of the fight, News 12 New Jersey reported.
A video allegedly taken outside the bar that night, and published by News12 and RLS Media, has garnered more than 38,000 views since being shared to Facebook on Monday.

In the video, a large group of people can be seen congregating on the street and sidewalk. Several people in the crowd throw punches and kicks, with multiple fights taking place at the same time.
