Weather Causes Flight 'Disruptions' At Newark Liberty Airport On Saturday

Officials urged travelers to check with their airlines to determine the status of their flights.

NEWARK, NJ — Wind conditions have caused flight disruptions at Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey, officials said in a post to X on Saturday.

Federal Aviation Administration officials said that due to the weather and wind, there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving at the airport. It is causing arriving flights to be delayed an average of one hour and 44 minutes.
