Woman, 25, Stabbed At Newark PATH Station: Port Authority Police
Port Authority police found a 25-year-old woman bleeding from a puncture wound on her back.

NEWARK, NJ — Port Authority police charged a New York man with aggravated assault and weapon possession after he allegedly stabbed a 25-year-old woman at the Newark PATH station early Thursday morning.
Police responded to a report of a woman who fell on the station platform around 1:30 a.m. On arrival, officers found a 25-year-old woman bleeding from a puncture wound on her back. The victim told the officers that she’d been stabbed, authorities said.
Police arrested the alleged assailant, William F. Harden, 38, of Brooklyn, New York, at the scene.

Emergency responders transported the victim to University Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Police said that an encounter was captured on surveillance video. Officers recovered a knife near a pillar at the station, authorities said.

Authorities charged Harden with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes and Unlawful Possession of Weapons. Police also charged Harden with Marijuana Possession (Under 50 Grams) after finding a small amount of suspected marijuana in his possession during a search.
